Is Chrisitan Carino finally caught in a BAD ROMANCE with his girlfriend-turned fiance Lady Gaga? Well, everyone seems to think so!
Speaking to People on 19th February 2019, the LA-based talent agent's representative confirmed the split. According to the yet-to-be-named source, Christian and the Paparazzi hitmaker called off their engagement "a bit ago."
Downplaying the persistent rumors which suggested that Gaga's A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper had something to do with the former engaged duo's split, the stated source explained:-
“It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end. There’s no long dramatic story.”
The speculations of their breakup first began when Christian didn't accompany his then-fiancee Gaga to the 2019 Grammy Awards, held on 10th February. The Shallow songstress showed up to the said award function without the engagement ring.
The fact that his now-former fiancee, age 32, didn't thank him in her acceptance speech further intensified the split gossips. Furthermore, she didn't flaunt him on Valentine's Day but instead celebrated the occasion with a new tattoo on Instagram.
Dating since February 2017, the CAA agent and Gaga - who share 20 years difference in age and in net worth - got engaged within six months after meeting each other.
But, it wasn't until October that very year that the newly-engaged duo confirmed the news of their engagement when the pop star took time to thank "my fiance" during her acceptance speech at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood celebration.
Although Chrisitan and his wife-to-be had planned a summer wedding in Italy in 2018, the latter's schedule proved as a significant hindrance.
Had the lovebirds tied the knot as initially scheduled, it would be the super agent's second marriage -- between 1997 and 2015, he was in a marital relationship with first wife Brooke Baldwin, with whom he shares two daughters: Isabella and Lola.
Before Gaga, the father of two dated The Walking Dead actress Lauren Cohan and actress Amber Heard. His former fiancee, meanwhile, was with actor Taylor Kinney. Gaga and her ex-fiance, Taylor called off their engagement in late 2016.
