Lauren Burnham Engaged To New Boyfriend Arie Luyendyk Jr! Wedding Days On Air – When?

The Bachelor stars have happy news to share!

Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. from The Bachelor got engaged on Tuesday night's special, After the Final Rose.

The engagement news aired following the shocking revelation of Arie breaking off his engagement with the 27-year-old publicist, Becca Kufrin just weeks after proposing her. Arie then explained, had second thoughts about their relationship and wanted to pursue one with his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. 

The whole break up scene between Arie and Becca got broadcasted without any cuts and edits, thence Becca Kufin expressed it as a "brutal and heartbreaking,"

 "I mean, when it all happened, I feel like I kind of blacked out, and so much was going through my mind that I couldn't take it all in... so to watch that back now, of course, I had feelings for him and I loved him, so it was a hard heartbreak." 

Well, after the on-screen breakup, Arie went to visit Lauren in Virginia Beach at her parent's house and revealed his feelings to Lauren.

Arie then went on to his knee and proposed her on the live special, saying, 

"I have made some bad decisions, but the best decision was running back to you. I can't imagine a life without you. You have shown me a love that is patient, a love that is kind, and I truly believe you are my soul mate."

He further expressed,

"I'm ready to face this life with you and all that comes with it. Good and bad. I love you so much. And I want to do this in front of everyone because I want to show you that I should have done this a long time ago."   

Moreover, the newly engaged couple also revealed that they are going on a vacation to celebrate their engagement. Arie opened up expressing, 

 "We're going on a little vacation. We're going to get out of the country for a little bit and then Lauren is going to move to Arizona." 

Meanwhile, it isn't the first instance of getting engaged for Lauren, as previously she was engaged to her high school sweetheart. Later, she again shared a romantic relationship with the professional hockey player, Christopher Crane. After dating for a while, Lauren got engaged to her then-boyfriend, Crane back in July 2016 and was set to get married in July 2017. However, they ended their relationship back in December 2016.

Hopefully this time, Lauren gets to plan her wedding day and walk down the aisle with her partner.
