Michael Sheen, a Welsh actor, is back on dating after his break-up with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman. The man is involved with a comedian again, but this time with an Irish comedienne, who goes by the name Aisling Bea.
The news broke out after the duo was spotted together at the Oliver Awards on 8 April 2018.
The actor, who is 49, was keeping his romance with his new love interest Aisling under the wraps before the pair were pictured together during the award show. The two arrived separately at the Natural History Museum, but later met up in the afterparty at the prestigious theatre ceremony.
Even though the pair has not talked about their relationship yet, a source at The Sun has revealed some information about the couple. It has come to light that they met through their mutual friends and were smitten after the meeting.
As for Michael, he has been telling people that he is off the market for his female admirers.
The source stated,
“They met through mutual friends and Michael is pretty smitten, telling people he is off the market.”
Moreover, during the afterparty of the show, the couple shared some moments together. Michael showed his concerns about his girl and stood up for her defense when a reveler smashed a glass near Aisling.
An onlooker at the after party stated,
“They stayed close all evening and Michael leaped to her defence when a reveller smashed a glass near her, making sure she was OK.”
Moreover, Michael was pictured together with Aisling on the stage at the UK Social Enterprise Awards last year in London. Aisling was the one to host the show at that time.
Prior to his dating with Aisling, he was in a relationship with Sarah Silverman, the American stand-up comedian. He met Sarah on the sets of Showtime's Master of Sex in 2014, and they started dating since then.

However, the couple parted ways in February of 2018 nearly after four years of dating. Their split was announced by Sarah on Twitter in February giving long-distance relationship as a reason for their separation.
Adding to that, before Sarah, he was in a relationship with English ballet dancer Lorraine Stewart from late 2004 until mid-2010.
Moreover, he had a long-term relationship with Kate Beckinsale, with whom he even shares a child. He has an 18-year-old daughter, Lily with Kate who was born in 1999. The two were together from 1995 till 2003 sharing eight years of togetherness.
However, after their separation, Kate admitted that she felt like they were married and she was his wife even though the couple never took the marriage vows.
