End of another Hollywood relationship!
Summer Phoenix, the wife of Academy winner actor Casey Affleck has filed for divorce on Monday. The pair was married for ten years until they announced their separation on March of 2016.
The 38 years old actress filed the divorce petition citing the most common reason “irreconcilable differences.” In the relationship of more than a decade and a half, the pair shares two sons, Indiana Affleck, 13 and Atticus Affleck, 9.
As per sources, Summer has requested for the joint legal and physical custody of her two kids. Along with that, she is also asking for the spousal support and attorney fees.

Although the pair split in March last year, Summer has listed the date of separation as November of 2015 on the docs that she filed.
Casey's rep, at the time of segregation, mentioned,
“Casey and Summer have amicably separated. They remain very close friends”
Almost everyone witnessed when Summer’s soon to be ex-husband went up to collect his Oscar on earlier this year. He earned the Oscar and other honorable awards for his notable performance on drama “Manchester by the Sea.”
During the acceptance speech at the Golden Globe, he thanked his estranged wife for giving him “just about every good acting idea [he] ever had."
Getting to their first meet, the two first initially met in 1995, but later in 2000, Joaquin Phoenix, Summer’s older brother introduced them.
The now estranged couple has also played together in a play alongside Matt Damon, in 2001. They started dating since then and got engaged on 2003 during the Christmas holidays. Their wedding took place in Savannah, Georgia in June of 2006.

Though the Gone Baby Gone actor Casey has not bothered to reveal information on how he met Floriana, the two did make their relationship public during premiere after party of Manchester by the Sea in November 2016.
