US Presidential Election 2016: Donald Trump Vs Hillary Clinton, Who do the Celebrities Stand for?
There have been a lot of mixed reactions from the celebrities in response to Donald Trump winning 2016 presidential election against Hillary Clinton. Find out about who your favorite celebrities have voted for George Clooney to Miley Cyrus here.
Supporters of Hillary Clinton:
If this were some contest than Hillary Clinton would have won hands down. Hillary was supported by some of the biggest celebrity power couples like George and Amal Clooney, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and Beyoncé and Jay-z.
Jay-Z and Beyonce had headlined a concert for Hillary Clinton just a week before the presidential elections, and Beyonce even said,
"I want my daughter to grow up seeing women lead our country and knowing that her possibilities are limitless,
While husband Jay-Z attacked Donald Trump saying,
"He cannot be my president, He cannot be our president. Once you divide us, you weaken us. We are stronger together."

George and Amal Clooney also held a fundraiser for Hilary Clinton in their LA home on April 16, 2016, and also attended another fundraiser a day before in San Francisco. The tickets to their fundraiser cost a staggering 33,400 dollars which would be donated to the ‘Hilary Victory Fund.'
Hilary has hundreds of celebrities supporting her and naming them all in one place would be a hard task. Just some actors that really stand out are Ben Affleck, Jessica Alba, Mila Kunis, Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, James Franco, Drew Barrymore, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Ellen DeGeneres, Salma Hayek, Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson and many others.
There are many outstanding musicians as well who were backing the Democratic side. Some of those names are bands like CRUISER, Foxygen, Harry and the Potters, Indigo Girls, Panic! At the Disco, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Third Eye Blind and Yacht. Some rappers like 2 Chainz, Common, 50 Cents, ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, and Snoop Dog. Similarly singer and songwriters like Adele, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lopez, Rihana, Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Usher, Pink, Rita Ora and ‘Queen of Pop’ herself, Madonna.
Lady Gaga had even posted a photo of herself on Instagram of herself in a swimsuit with the caption reading "#HILLARY2016 Nothing can keep a strong woman down. VOTE for the first female U.S. president in history. Shake it up America; this country needs a little rock n' roll."
She had also posted a photo with Hilary Clinton a while ago when Hilary was the Secretary of State in 2015 in Instagram as she held out a T-shirt saying “Yaaas, Hillary!”
Some of the previously Bernie Sanders supporters also have transferred onto Hillary Clinton after he pulled out of the candidacy. Supporters of Donald Trump:
While the majority of celebrities were inclined towards Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump is not exactly low on celebrities supporting him. Going through some of the big names siding with the Republican candidate include actors Jenna Jameson, Bob Levy, Dennis Miller, Jon Voight, Gary Busey, Brandi Love David Miller and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Chuck Norris also is a distinguished supporter of Donald Trump. He had once said,
“After Mike dropped out, I decided to wait until the people chose the candidate they wanted as their next president,"
He further added;
”Then, I would wholeheartedly support that candidate, which is now Donald Trump."

Various athletes are backing up Donald Trump as well. The famous boxer Mike Tyson endorsed Donald Trump saying,
“He should be president of the United States ... Let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job ... I like Trump”
Some other Athletes that feel the similar way about Donald Trump like wrestlers Ted DiBiase and Jerry Lawler. He is also supported by basketball players Bob Knight and Dennis Rodman and baseball players Johnny Bench, George Brett, Johnny Damon, Paul O'Neill and John Rocker. So both the presidential candidates had an equal number of celebrity support on their sides.
