Before living a blissful life with Lauren, Aaron was in a long term relationship with Lindsay J. The couple dated for three and a half years before parting ways.

Little Aaron used to be fascinated with cars. He worked around the vehicle whenever his family car would need mending. Although the 37-year-old wanted to modify cars, the reality star’s family background didn’t allow him that luxury.

Thus, as an adult, he started a shop, Gas Monkey Garage team with a partner, Richard Ray Rawlings. It was through the shop Aaron, and his partner reached the height of their career when they landed the reality show, Fast N' Loud.

After becoming household names via the Discovery Channel, the reality star and his partner worked together till 2017. But, creative differences popped up, and Aaron decided to leave the show as well as the shop. After the hectic experience of Fast N' Loud, he wanted to quit his TV career as well.

But, one of the Discovery Channel's boss convinced him over a six-hour dinner, offering him full creative freedom in the reality show, Shifting Gears with Aaron Kaufman. Since then, he has worked in the show.

He even starred in another show, Gymkhana Ten: Ultimate Tire Slaying Tour in 2018.
