The actress, who proclaims a net worth of $500 thousand, once shared a passionate romance with a guy named Matthew Russell, a passionate musician and DJ. Imani and Matthew shared a deep love back then and even had their relationship officialized on social media.

It turns out the couple often posted pictures with each other on their social media. Both Imani and she often mentioned each other through their tweets on Twitter. The tweets began appearing back in 2016 when Imani said Matthew as her boyfriend.

Even though it has not been revealed how and when the duo began dating, but by the looks of their posts, the couple started dating sometime around in April 2016. Back then, Imani clearly mentioned Matthew as her boyfriend as she expressed that she and her man were willing to audition for CBS's show, The Amazing Race.

Months later, she also appreciated Matthew's presence in her life calling herself as "blessed" for having him in her life. Through a tweet, she also regarded her boyfriend as an "incredible partner."

Likewise, Matthew also has pictures with the actress on his Twitter. He often tweeted pictures with her. Back in June 2017, Matthew posted multiple photos with Imani as they spent quality time together in LA. He made sure to mention Imani on his post while saying her as his "bae."

A month later, he posted pictures from their getaway to Hawaii. While sharing portraits from their travel, Matthew reminisced their memories from their travels and wished for a tour back to those times.

Turns out, a few days later, the couple had spent some quality time together at a music show where they watched Twenty One Pilots perform. The couple shared lots of memories together while hanging out with each other.

Back then, they seemed like a perfect match, but now it looks like the pair has gone their separate ways. Both Imani and Matthew have stopped posting pictures with each other in recent times. The couple might have silently ended their romance without any issue as Matthew now has found a new love interest.

Imani, who has raised by her parents alongside her five brothers, is now solely focused on taking her career to a new height while having her love life on hold.
