The pair started dating when Minnie was 20 years old, and Tony was 21 years old. And they got married a few years later. The pair shares four adult children, namely Monica Beets, Mike Beets, Bianca Beets and Kevin Beets.

Born on December 15, 1959, Tony Beets made ends meet by milking cows and later working in pipeline construction. The Netherlands nationality then came to Dawson City in 1984, and now he runs an enormous gold mine called Paradise Hill with his family. In the off-season, Tony lives with his family in their house in Arizona.
Tony first starred in the season two of “Gold Rush” alongside “Big Boot” Fred Hurt after working for construction business for three years which became the beginning of his rising career in the mining field.
Other than the colorful language that Tony Beets uses, he is also famous for the unique quotes which he uses on the show.
