Radio show host Bobby Bones, age 38, along with his partner Sharna Burgess have won the coveted Dancing with the Stars title on the famed reality dancing competition, which aired on 19 November 2018. 

The dominant win, however, was far from easy. Before being declared the winner of season 27 of Dancing with the Stars in the live finale, Bobby and Sharna faced steep competition from fellow finalists -- Milo Manheim and Witney Carson, Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe, and Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten -- as they battled head-to-head for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

In addition to performing their most prominent dance number from the season, the finalists also performed a freestyle for judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Following the announcement, Bobby credited dance partner Sharna for the win. He quipped:-

“Thank you to the people, thank you to Sharna for making all this possible.”

In an earlier interview with PeopleTV, the radio personality had claimed that all of her achievements on the show was due to her dance partner. He had said:-

“I’m not the best dancer. It’s all [Sharna], I just hold on tight.”

Reacting to Bobby's win, the Bobby Bones Show's co-host Tom Bergeron congratulated him and even labeled him "people's champion."

Bobby's win comes days after his now infamous interview with Good Housekeeping where he claimed that the judges didn't want him to win. He explained:-

"I think they [the judges' marks and critiques] are fair. I don't think they want me to win, frankly, I think the judges want somebody who came in with more dance experience to win. But that's why the show isn't just about the judges — it's also about the people."

As for life after DWTS, the radio personality along with her fellow contestants will embark on ABC sponsored tour titled Dancing with the Stars: Live! A Night to Remember, which begins on 15th December 2018.

DWTS Winner's Bio Unveils Girlfriend & Impending Married Life

Booby once famously claimed that he would get married by December of 2019. Wouldn't it be a wonderful treat to tie the knot on the one year anniversary of his famous win?

Referencing Bobby's on-air promise, On 18 October 2018, Eddie, the producer of the Bobby Bones Show tweeted:-

"It actually is in my calendar. The date Bobby says he will get married is December 7, 2019."

Despite his claim, Bobby bio suggests that he's as single as they come. Interestingly enough, about a year earlier from the day of Eddie's tweet, Bobby announced his breakup with girlfriend musician Lindsey Ell on his nationally syndicated morning radio show.

Beside his ex-girlfriend Lindsey, he was also romantically linked with country musician Rachel Reinert. His chemistry with Sharna even on DWTS also drew girlfriend rumors.

Born on 2 April 1980, Bobby began his career in radio at age 17 from the Henderson State University's radio station. He earned his BA degree in TV and Radio from the same.

Since becoming the central fixture in mainstream radio, the Bobby Bones show host has gone on to author a best seller book, won key awards as well as amass $7 million in net worth.
