Lis Wiehl & Bill O’Reilly Settled Sexual Harassment Allegation In Secret! Bill Takes Support Of Everything He Can Muster
Bill O’Reilly makes the headlines again, as New York Times issues a report claiming that Bill made the largest payout as a settlement with Fox News’ longtime network analyst Lis Wiehl with a whopping amount of $32 million back in January.
The sexual harassment allegation that Lis filed is the sixth known harassment allegation against Bill. The previous charges were filed by Rachel Bernstein, Andrea Mackris, Rebecca Diamond, Laurie Dhue, & Juliet Huddy.
The network’s parent company 21st Century Fox knew the settlement that came in January, months after the ousting of Former CEO of Fox News, Late Roger Ailes.
The company knew that there was a complaint against Bill alleging repeated harassment, nonconsensual sexual relationship and things like sending gay pornography along with other sexually explicit materials. However, they decided to offer Bill a contract after Lis signed an affidavit, which claimed they both had consensually settled their dispute.
Bill’s settlement, according to the Times, was just before Fox landed a four-year contract of $25 million/year with Bill. All of this happened while the company acknowledged the sexual harassment crisis that cornered Bill.
However, the pay that Bill made to Lis has conjured a storm of question on why he deliberately paid that huge sum. Bill, in his defense, claimed that the news by Times was nothing but a smear of lies to potentially kill his career, making him ineligible for any other TV Show.
"O'Reilly calls the Times report a malicious smear, claiming that no women in 20 years ever complained to human resources or legal about him."
However, the claim Bill made did not have any supporting evidence, which makes the report look like truth in the view of viewers and media people. Moreover, another former prominent Fox News personality Megyn Kelly spoke against Bill and made a statement that said,
"Maybe that is true. Fox News was not exactly a friendly environment for harassment victims who wanted to report, in my experience. However, O'Reilly's suggestion that no one ever complained about his behavior is false. I know because I complained."
Bill responded to Kelly’s statement saying,
"I don't know why Megyn Kelly is doing what she's doing."
Bill, who also had a controversy-filled interview with Donald Trump, the current president of the United States of America, reputedly brought his family in between the talks of the news flashed by Times.
"Why don't you be human beings for once? This is horrible. It's horrible what I went through. Horrible what my family went through."
He also tried to take the support of Eric Bolling's state, who lost his son Eric Chase Bolling amid all the sexting drama that surrounded him.
However, Eric politely requested not to drag him or the matter of the loss of his son to prove any point.
As far as the company is concerned, they issued a statement claiming that the amount of settlement was private, something that Bill cleared as his personal issue with Lis Wiehl, who at the moment is silent amid the shocking revelation.
While everything is pressing down on Bill, he insists that all this doing is politically and financially motivated and that he can prove it all!
