Who Is Aleka’s Husband?
Aleka is married to Sacramento Kings alum Peja Stojakovic. The pair have been together for more than one decade as they first started going out on 16th September 2003.
Like his model wife, the former NBA player holds a Greek nationality, but behind his citizenship, there is a heartwarming story. Peja was born in a place now know as Pozega, Croatia. During Yugoslav wars, when the basketball player was just 16 years of age, he fled the conflicts with his family and settled in Greece.
After getting a second chance for a good life, the young lad turned his circumstances around via his athletic skills. Being drafted in 1996 by the Sacramento Kings, he was put on the bench for straight two years.

But, in 2000-2001, he had his breakthrough as a player and was even second in voting for Most Improved Player Award. After eight year tenure with his debut team, Peja was traded to Indiana Pacers in 2006. However, the journey with his second team didn’t last long; he was sent to join New Orleans/Oklahoma City.

In 2006, Peja shined with his career-high of 42-points against the Charlotte Bobcats. With his killer performance, he became the first NBA player in history to open the game with 20 straight points for his team. But, after the historic feat, injury gloomed his 2006-2007 season. In 2010, he was again traded to Toronto Raptors and was released in January 2011.
During his stint at his final team Dallas Mavericks, he contributed his fullest and won NBA Championship of 2011. On 19th December 2011, he retired from professional basketball.
