But back in November 2014, she revealed that she had a boyfriend while replying to one of her tweets.

As of now, Betsy is all set to get married as Jonathan popped the question to her. The news of her engagement surfaced in the media when Betsy posted a picture with her fiance on her Facebook account on 12 March 2018.

The Washington, DC-based political writer, who is of Caucasian ethnicity, showed off her not-so sparkly ring in the picture as her soon-to-be husband placed a kiss right above her cheek. Betsy revealed that she got engaged through her caption on the post. Betsy wrote,

Well, the couple surely seems happy and ready to exchange those marriage vows in a wedding ceremony. The couple, who shares similar work frame, is now ready to share their life together. 

While there are not many details revealing about their marriage, apparently the couple have already taken the steps towards it. Even if they are keeping the insights on their wedding at the bay for their fans, very few details have been known.

Despite there has not been publicly announcement of their wedding dates or the venue for their ceremony, it seems that they might have something musical stored for their big day. But turns out, Betsy was not the daughter of famous parents. Betsy herself, clearly denied Al Hunt and Judy being her parents through Twitter. She tweeted saying that neither Al is her father nor is Judy her mother. 

Adding to it, this famed couple too denied Betsy being their daughter. Judy soberly replying to one the tweet saying,

"thank you, @WoodruffBets is impressive for sure but we are not her parents: I'm confident they are very proud"

In actual, Betsy is one of the three children of Scott Woodruff and Jane Tharpa Woodruff. Betsy, who celebrated her birthday every year on 15 October, was raised by these proud parents with her siblings Chris, her brother, and Jane, her sister. 

This family of five does seem to have few cherishable moments together even after being wrongly informed on the internet.
