Restaurant owner, Chris finally got married to his longtime partner, Candiace Dillard in a fancy wedding held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium located in Washington, D.C.

In the event of 260 guests, Chris flaunted his groom-looks dressed in a white tuxedo whereas the Real Housewives of Potomac star wore a designer gown made by Karen Sabag. The newly-wedded husband and wife shared a passionate kiss as they posed for a photograph during the ceremony.

A source close to the couple talked about the romantic event with the PEOPLE,
"Candiace’s wedding reminded me of a Parisian fairy tale overflowing in gold and white. When she walked down the aisle you forgot about the beauty of the room because she was absolutely radiant."
The couple got engaged in May 2017 when Chris proposed Candiace in the presence of their family and friends.

Chris and his wife Candiace first met while both of them were working together at a restaurant located in Washington, D.C. Before the pair started dating, they are assumed to be longtime friends, with the exact date of the commencement of their relationship still being a mystery.

And when it came to revealing their romance to the public, Chris and Candiace had some tough times. Talking about the sarcasm she faced from the haters due to her interracial relationship with Chris, Candiace said to PEOPLE on August 2018,
"I would get crazy Facebook messages from black women asking, ‘I’m considering dating outside my race. What is it like dating a white guy?’ So I was hoping I’d be able to normalize interracial dating and interracial love."
Before Candiace, Chris has already been married and shares three children from two of his previous relationships.
Chris has an estranged relationship with his eldest son and even confessed in a May 2018 tweet that he had not seen his firstborn in nine years. Further, he mentioned in another tweet that though he tried writing letters and sending cards or gifts; his son would not talk to him.

As for Candiace, marriage to Chris is her first one and is all her excited about becoming the step-mother to Chris' children. Moreover, she wishes that her future biological child and her step-kids have a strong siblings bond.
