Is Bret Michaels Married?

Bret is not a married man. But, he came close to becoming one. Well, he was engaged to be married to his long-time girlfriend, Kristi Gibson.

The Poison frontman started dating actress and model Kristi Gibson in 1996. The pair’s relationship grew as they became parents to a daughter named Raine Michaels (born in 2000).

Five years after welcoming Raine, Bret and his girlfriend became second-time parents to another daughter, Jorja Bleu Michaels (born on 5 May 2005). While the family was growing, Bret saw a major hard time as he suffered from a brain hemorrhage and went through an emergency appendectomy in early 2010.

Amidst the tough period, the singer’s baby mama Kristi was right beside him. Thus, Bret took no time to seal the deal. He proposed Kristi to be his wife on 22 December 2010 on the reality show Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.

Sadly, the pair didn’t go through with their wedding. Bret and Kristi remained married for only two years, parting ways in 2012.

Their eldest daughter, Raine, is an emerging model. Managed by ONE Model Management, she was named one of the finalists for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition in 2018.

Similarly, Raine's younger sister Jorja Bleu is a talented young lady. She and her father, Bret, wrote 2019 single titled Unbroken.
