KPRC2 meteorologist Britta Merwin has been enjoying a happily married life nurtured by her children's presence. The family of five looks pretty content but maintaining a healthy marriage was a tough task for the San Antonio, Texas native, especially where one of her kids had a disability.
Putting the pressure aside, Britta and her husband are doing their best fighting the battle against autism while also keeping their romance alive!
Who Is Britta Merwin's Husband?
Britta's husband is a former member of the US Coast Guard. She got married to her husband in October 2010 in Cape May, New Jersey. According to the meteorologist, her husband served in five different US Military departments but later retired as a lieutenant. Further, Britta is yet to reveal her husband's name to the world.
The two celebrated their ten years of being engaged on May 22, 2021. Britta took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture of her wedding with her husband, and the caption read-

The couple has three kids together, sons- Jackson, Henry and a daughter- Lila Rose, born in September 2019. On the 4th of April 2019, Merwin surprised everyone when she announced her pregnancy.

The couple might look happy and well on the surface, but co-parenting two children with her husband is not an easy task for Britta as one of their sons has been diagnosed with autism. But, with 10 years of togetherness under their belt, the duo has made worked through whatever hardship life has thrown at them.

The meteorologist, an activist in raising awareness about the disability, revealed during KPRC 2's Autism Awareness Month in June 2018 that her kid was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. Her child is currently undergoing therapy and is on his way to a swift recovery.

Merwin was born on 19 February 1991. She is the daughter of a retired Colonel of the US Air Force and was raised in a military family with her sister. She completed her academic education at Stony Brook University with a Bachelor in Atmospheric Sciences.
