After earning a finance degree and a decent place to work in, Cody discovered he had made the wrong choices. 

Realizing his place was not in the finance office, Cody left the finance job and joined a bunch of amateur theatre groups. From then onwards, his acting journey started to pick up the pace, and now he is one of the most versatile actors in the industry.

However, there is a piece of bad news for his girlfriends-wanna-be as Cody is openly gay and is dating a boyfriend named Eric Smith. The romance between the two dates back to 2017 when they first appeared on an Instagram video together.

From then onwards, the two have not backed down from showing off their chemistry all over the internet. They frequently appear on Eric’s Instagram and enjoy being together. Though they have not opened up about any plans of getting married, it might not be that far away.

Unlike most who have roots in acting from childhood, Cody Fern - height 5 feet 10 inches (1.78m) - was far from glamour, growing up in a tiny Southern Crosstown in Australia.

His dad was a policeman, and his mother worked in most of the places around town. Born as the middle son in three, his parents packed food for the brother in a lunch box and kicked them into the wild, saying not to return home until dinner time.

With such an atmosphere in the family, the Pieces actor spent most of his childhood playing around in the wild. As he grew older, he developed an interest in the screenplay, watching movies that came up on the TV every week.

However, he did not have enough money to spend on an acting school, so he decided to move to Perth to study finance on a scholarship. Immediately after graduation, he moved landed a decent job at a finance office.

Even after getting himself a lucrative job, Cody did not find peace in what he was doing. Realizing the same, he quit the job and started working with a small bunch of actors. From there, he made his stage debut in the lead role in War Horse.

Likewise, the 31-year-old also featured in the popular Nextflix’s series House of Cards and The American Crime Story, which propelled his acting career to new heights.

Now, the Australian is ready to put his hand on many new projects and give his fans something to cheer in the upcoming days.
