Garrett of age 33, comes from a family of five. A middle child, he boasts a little sister, Colleen Temple, and elder brother, El Temple. 

The Temple siblings grew up with substantial influences; their parents. Garret’s father Collis Temple was the first-ever African American basketball player at Louisiana State University’s basketball team, Louisiana State Fighting Tigers School. Interestingly, Garrett also went to the same college and played basketball there like his father. 

Thus, he was the proudest son when his father was inducted in the school’s Hall of Fame in 2017. And, he was the one who honored his father.

As per the athlete’s mother, she has been the rock of the family since day one. According to the NBA star, his loving mama is the world’s best cook and his biggest inspiration.
