Kurt Busch Married Life

Kurt is married to Ashley Van Metre. Kurt and Ashley met at Martinsville Speedway in Fall 2014 and started dating. They got engaged in August 2015.

After almost two years, the couple tied the knot on 7th January 2017. The intimate wedding ceremony was held in front of forty of their friends and family.

A week after the big day, they hosted a reception at Palm Beach. During the celebrations, singer Steven Tyler serenaded the crowd with a surprise performance. 

The couple recently completed their 4 years of togetherness on 7 January. Kurt took the happy news to his Instagram and wished his wife Ashley a happy 4th anniversary. Calling her a sweet angel he said, "You have my heart to infinity!"

Well, this is not the first time the professional racer has shower love for his wife. There are a number of instances where Kurt has not missed out on flaunting love with Ashley. Whether that be Christmas, New Year, or Valentine's day, he is always there with his wife.  

On 2021's Valentine's Day, he called her his best friend and reciprocating the love Ashley shared an intimate picture sending luck and love to her husband.

Kurt's First Wife; Failed Marriage 

Kurt was previously married to Eva Bryan. They first met on a blind date after a race at Pocono. Initially, Eva thought he was a veterinarian. But her confusion was cleared on the first date itself. And, the pair started dating. 

Eventually, Kurt and Eva got married on 27th July 2006. As his wife, she used to help him professionally; Eva was the vice president of Kurt’s racing company. 

However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2011. 

Past Dating Life & Domestic Abuse Charges 

Kurt was in a relationship with Patricia Driscoll- former president and executive director of the Armed Forces Foundation. The pair started dating in 2011 and broke up in 2014. 

Kurt and his ex-girlfriend had a messy break-up. She claimed that the professional racer had physically and verbally abused her. According to Patricia, Kurt slammed her head into a bedroom wall and gaged her in his motorhome at Dover International Speedway in Delaware.

She filed for a restraining order against Kurt and got a protective order against him. Following the order, NASCAR suspended him. 

However, the case got dropped due to lack of evidence, and Kurt returned to racing in 2015.

Kurt was born on 4th August 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He started car racing as a child and became successful in Dwarf racing as a teenager. 

He has a brother, Kyle Busch, who is also a professional racer. He was named the 2004 Busch Series Rookie of the Year. 

Kurt’s father also used to race in NASCAR.
