American Quarterback Kyler Murray is a rising star in football, who is best known for winning the prestigious Heisman Trophy with Oklahoma in 2018.

He made his NFL debut as the first pick of Arizona Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft. In his debut year, he went on to bag the 2019 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Kyler Murray was born to African American father Kevin Murray and Korean -American mother, Misun (Missy) Murray. He was raised alongside brother Kevin Murray and sister Precious Murray.

His father Kevin was also a football player who played as a Texas A& M quarterback from 1983 to 1986. But at the age of twenty-two, the elder Murray succumbed to a career-ending ankle injury, which ended his career.

After the career-ending injury, Kyler's father turned to corporate and worked in HR for sixteen years. But after sixteen years, he came back to sports and started coaching.

He trained football quarterbacks, including Kyler. It was his coaching and efforts that played a vital role in Kyler getting discovered at a young age.

Kyler Murray's Career

Kyler followed his father's path and started his career in football at an early age.

During Kyle's high school days at Allen High School, he led the school to three straight state championships. He set the record of 42-0 as a starting quarterback in his high school career.

After high school, Kyle started his college career with Texas A& M University but later transferred to the University of Oklahoma in 2016. It was with Oklahoma; he won the prestigious Heisman Trophy.

His career in High school and college-level football eventually led him to be Arizona's first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
