While doing her masters, Liberte had already started working under well-known anchor Hal Fishman as a news writer for KTLA News.
In 2006, she shifted to KCOY TV for the position of General Assignment Reporter. During her work in the network, Jerry Brown, the governor of California, recognized her impressive reporting on the Santa Barbara County Probation Department, which led her career to a new height.
Eventually, after two years, she was appointed as a morning anchor in KMIR 6 News. She joined KTLA News again in 2010 as reporter and meteorologist. However, she left the station in 2011 for an undisclosed reason but eventually returned to the network back in 2012.
Now, apart from earning a salary of more than $50,000 annually as a meteorologist, Liberte accumulates income from her co-founded clothing brand called Sweat With Soul.

The LA-born reporter is a married woman.
She had tied the knot with her boyfriend, Brian Chase in 2012. Their wedding was held in the beautiful and historical Greystone Manson in Beverly Hills. Also, their romantic honeymoon was planned to be celebrated in Paris, France.
