The highly anticipated Ireland's Got Talent presenter, Lucy Kennedy lives in delight with her best-friend turned husband Richard Governey, a management consultant.
Lucy, who was previously suggested for weight loss, first met her husband back when they both were at the age of 23. During that time, Richard attended Lucy's sister's wedding and Lucy was there at the ceremony congratulating her sister's friend on her big day.
At the wedding, the pair hit it off instantly as they were sharing laughter and jokes together. According to Lucy, Richard made her laugh, which made her realize he was different from other guys.

The pair started seeing each other and let their love develop. Following almost eight years of dating, they tied the nuptial knot.
Before exchanging their marriage vows, Richard followed Lucy and presented her with a ring from his pocket. Then he got down on one knee asked his women of dreams to marry him.
The pair exchanged the wedding vows in July 2008 in front of their family and close friends.
According to Lucy, she and Richard, the duo of exactly opposite personality, share an undying love for each other. Richard is shy, calm and extremely funny which made Lucy fall in love with him. She also gushes over him calling him "my lobster."
As of now, they have been together for almost a decade and shares their relationship for 18 years in total making it almost a two decades of togetherness.
Happy Family With Kids
Well, the pair had a gorgeous wedding, and after vowing to hold onto each other even in darkest days, they were looking forward to starting a family together. As for Lucy, she wanted to have three kids with the partner in her crime.
Not long after their marriage, the pair was expecting their first child, which the married couple announced in April 2009. After six months, Lucy gave birth to her first son Jack.
The proud parents were glad to see the baby they were expecting for a long time.
Three years later, Lucy was excited to welcome new addition to her family of three. In April 2012, Lucy welcomed her first daughter into her family of three. The pair named their daughter Holly who is now at the age of five.

As time passed, Lucy wanted to have another kid into her family. Her wish of having three children came true when she was pregnant with their third child. Lucy confirmed the news of her pregnancy through a tweet on Twitter.
The pair welcomed their third baby Jess in December 2016. Jess is now one and a half years old. Well, indeed, Lucy is bestowed with three kids and a loving husband.
