Tempted to the deal, Wade does what he is asked. However, Roxi runs with all his clothes leaving him naked and all alone inside the Hall Of Mirrors. Just then, a giant alien squid teleports in New York blasting psychic waves that killed millions.

Sheltered by the mirrors, Wade survives the attack but becomes traumatized for life. His character later, however, learns to cope with the trauma and wears a mask to help with his anxiety issues. He eventually even joins the Tulsa Police Department.
