The owner of the Tamarack Mine’s wife is the one who controls all the payrolls and is the one who has got all the checkbooks and all. Does that mean Minnie is the controller of the  $15 million net worth of the experienced miner? Undoubtedly the answer is “Yes.”

Above all that Tony self-admits that she is “very important” and she is one who “does all the book works and takes all the money.” In actuality, she is the only person to whom Tony cannot say “No.”

The pair started dating when Minnie was 20 years old, and Tony was 21 years old. And they got married a few years later. The pair shares four adult children, namely Monica Beets, Mike Beets, Bianca Beets and Kevin Beets.

The Dutch-Canadian legendary Klondike has made his all family members involved in the business operating all heavy machinery works for the mining business.

Born on December 15, 1959, Tony Beets made ends meet by milking cows and later working in pipeline construction. The Netherlands nationality then came to Dawson City in 1984, and now he runs an enormous gold mine called Paradise Hill with his family. In the off-season, Tony lives with his family in their house in Arizona.
Tony first starred in the season two of “Gold Rush” alongside “Big Boot” Fred Hurt after working for construction business for three years which became the beginning of his rising career in the mining field.  

Other than the colorful language that Tony Beets uses, he is also famous for the unique quotes which he uses on the show.

Tony Beets got into a controversy in the show, after his 75 years old dredge went on fire after being doused with gasoline. For which his employee who set the fire was ordered to pay fine of $1,725.
