He started being noticed ever since he played in the court but, he rose to fame in 2017 when he played for Oklahoma. His first year, the star won the Big 12's Player of the Week award six times.

At just 20 years of age, the star has been put on the stand with Bill Russell, Charles Barkley, Julius Erving and many more.

Like most basketball player, Trae began playing since his high school.

During his high school years, the point guard achieved the tremendous success that would pave the path to his career. He was titled Gatorade Player of the Year. ESPN also ranked him as one of the 15th student-athlete prospects in the United States.

On the 21st of June 2018, the star was picked by Dallas Mavericks. However, before he got a chance to wear the Dallas jersey, Trae was traded to the Atlanta Hawks. He signed a contract with them on the 1st of July 2018.

Well, the star player is in a relationship with his university’s cheerleader, Shelby Miller. The duo met sometime in 2017 while they were studying at the Oklahoma University and have been together ever since.
