Well I didn’t know this, but I was stepping on a scale. And I looked up and in red, big numbers, 233 lbs. showed up on this thing.
She further shared her thinking, "I said, ‘Wait a minute?’ and I looked down and all I could think was ‘Howard, ready to shame me?’ They purposely did it.”
The Wilson Philips singer was over 300 pounds when she decided to take the gastric bypass surgery as a part of her weight loss journey, but it wasn't of much help for her weight loss.

As per an article in 2010, she appeared in The Dr. Oz Show, and the team had prescribed her a 90-day program that involved "daily exercise and food journal" to help her with her weight loss.

Her weight loss journey was nothing easy, but she got right back to the grindstone and did it every time.
In 2012, after having an impressive weight loss, she underwent lap-band surgery, helping her lose 30 lbs more.

Wilson has found confidence within herself, and she seems to have maintained her current weight.
