Joining the movement and getting involved ever since her college days at Oxford University, Sasha is said to have an immense passion for justice and implementing change.
By attending and supporting various leading protests for the eradication of injustices, Sasha became a powerful voice for her community.
Never afraid to stand up, Johnson’s motive was always to feed the homeless; she was even personally involved in delivering groceries to the people who were in need.

The incident started after many alleged life-threatening credible threats against the activist were made.
Following the threats, Sasha suffered a gunshot to the head on 23rd May 2021 in South London during a birthday party.
Black Lives Matter Activist Sasha is currently in a critical condition facility in a hospital as of today.
In the statement generated by TTIP, they wrote,
“This was a shocking incident that has left a young woman with very serious injuries. Our thoughts are with her family who are being provided with support at this terribly difficult time.”
TTIP also uploaded an Instagram post with the caption,
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our own Sasha Johnson has been brutally attacked and sustained a gunshot wound to her head. She is currently in intensive care and in a critical condition. The attack happened in the early hours of this morning, following numerous death threats as a result of her activism.
Sasha has always been actively fighting for black people and the injustices that surround the black community, as well as being both a member of Black Lives Matter and a member of Taking the Initiative Party’s Executive Leadership Committee. Sasha is also a mother of 2 and a strong, powerful voice for our people and our community.

Following Sasha’s first hospital visit, a photo of her’s was uploaded, which garnered the world’s attention.
Following the incident, there were four possible suspects arrested.
But, the case did not move forward, and it was dropped after a closely inspected review.
The police stated that even though there were 30 people present at the party, none of them had come forward with a statement.
Following the case’s downfall, Sasha’s mother and sister spoke to journalists at New Scotland Yard on Monday.
Leading with an emotional interview, Sasha’s mother stated,
“She is strong, she is a fighter and she will come and tell the story of who did this to her.”
Her sister expressed that even though the case collapsed, the family would still get justice, and they are following the way of faith.
Ending the interview, the mother and sister stated,
“We will get justice, and Sasha will come and let us get justice.”
“I told her she was going to be OK. She nodded her head at me, she squeezed my hand.”
The effects of the incident were extremely catastrophic.
Sasha lost one of her eyes, one side of her body was numb, and she suffered extreme mental trauma.
Adding on, answering the previously asked question, Sasha has two kids, and there is no information available regarding her possible married life.
