American footballer Luke Kuechly made his NFL debut in 2012 with the Carolina Panthers and became one of the team's leading defensive leaders in a short time.

On 14th January 2020, Carolina Panther's star Middle linebacker, Luke Kuechly, announced his retirement from NFL after an exceptional eight years long career.

During an interview with Panthers.com, the star player said, 

It makes me sad because I love playing this game, I've played it since I was a kid. It's my favorite thing in the world to do. The memories I have from this place and this organization and being on the field with these guys – they'll never go away. 

According to the reports, it was a series of football injuries that ultimately lead to his retirement.
