She attended Howell High School and later graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. She started her career as the news and sports director at WXJN-FM radio in Lewes, Delaware.
Later she worked for plenty of television and became the first female sports anchor at Nevada.She came into the spotlight after she joined the ESPN channel in the year 1995 in which she hosted the Michael Jordon and the Chicago Bulls’ record-setting championship run.
In the year 1998, she joined CBS sports channel and worked as a sideline reporter for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championships. Later in the year 2009 she again joined the ESPN channel as a field reporter for Sunday Night Baseball .
