But what stood as solid proof was when King removed pictures with Watkins from her Instagram, whether that be their anniversary celebration or her birthday wishes.

Imogen started working professionally as an actor before finishing college. In 2012, at the age of 17, she debuted in a play titled The Height. A year later, she was cast on the BBC show Doctors.

Since she came across a reliable agent, Jess Alford from United Agents, at a young age, things became more natural for her. On top of that, her education in the sociological background helped her to understand and develop her character.

In 2015, she got selected for her first film role in the movie The Messenger. The actor soon received parts in various notable series like Doctors, Casualty, Moving On, Darkest Hour, The Watchman, and Clique.

She then received a role that gave her the recognition she always deserved; she became part of the TV crime drama series The Bay in 2019. The series is a six-part drama that was shot around Morecambe and the Manchester area. The series plots around Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong's missing person's investigation, And King plays Abie Armstrong, her tearaway daughter. 

Speaking on her recent projects, the actor is starring in the TV series Hotel Portofino as Melissa De Vere and also in the TV Series The Suspect as Christina / Christina Frater, which is currently being filmed.
