At age 41, Windy City LIVE co-host Ryan Chiaverini is just as charming, if not more affable in his approach than he was during the early stages of his career.

Not only has he been able to use the boyish charms to his advantage for the smooth transition from sports-guy type to more rounded TV personality, but also has eased his way into becoming the staple among the Chicago's ABC 7's viewership.

An ally to gay causes, Ryan is as more comfortable on the eyes as he is winning over people's admiration. That said, has someone been able to woo the South Carolina native off his feet? Is he engaged to his - assuming he has one - girlfriend? If yes, where does he plan on getting married?

Gay Rights Activist Ryan Engaged To Girlfriend?

Rest assured, if Ryan does choose to get married, it won't be above the Chicago skyline.

The admission comes from an episode of Windy City LIVE, dated back to January of 2016, where he and the esteemed panel of the show discuss Will Tower Skydeck's scheme to allow a group of recently engaged couples to tie the knot on Valentine's Day 2016.

In the episode, the 41-year-old TV host - who earn a six-figure sum in salary working for ABC7 - makes critical remarks on the institution of marriage by drawing a parallel between the concept of settling down and the sheer volume of risk that comes with climbing 103 floors from the ground level.

Safe to say: forget getting engaged, it seems like that Ryan is not all that sold on the idea of "a happy ending." Maybe, it's the same reason why he has not publically acknowledged his love interest as a girlfriend in public.

Although he may be against "heterosexual marriage," he is content with gay couples tying the knots. A staunch gay rights supporter, Ryan even publically campaigns for it. Case in point: he participated in The 48th Annual Pride Parade held in Chicago.

For Ryan, activism - in whatever form it takes - is a key to everything he does.

Ever since his younger brother, Zach died of suicide in 2009, Ryan along with his twin brother, Darrin - formerly NFL player & now a UCLA coach - actively participates on charities as well as suicide awareness programmes.

Eight years after losing his younger brother, the University of Colorado Alum received another blow as his mother passed away. But by then, his parents had already parted ways, it seems.
