The 42-year-old actor Charlie married his fiancee Giselle Weber on 25 April 2015, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

His wedding was a private event; he had not even revealed his wife's name when he got married. The couple had exchanged the vows in front of only family and close friends. 

Two of his classmates, Matt McGorry and Katie Findlay, attended his private wedding. They even posted pictures from the time they attended the Mexican nuptials. Here is an Instagram post that McGorry shared during his time in Mexico.

The former model first announced his engagement to his then-fiancé back in February. In an interview with Steve Harvey, he announced that he was engaged.

He said:

“After we shot the pilot in Philadelphia, I came home and proposed to my girlfriend. I did it. We've been engaged for just under a year, and I'm taking her to Bora Bora.”

The actor further added:

"I don't think I've ever said that publicly."

From his previous relationship with a mystery partner, he had a thirteen-year-old daughter. He even went on to talk about her in the same interview; He said:

“I'm trying to keep her my baby for as long as I possibly can. She's still my little angel," We'll see how long that lasts, but right now all is well.” 

Though his engagement turned into marriage, the marriage could not last long. And Charlie reportedly divorced his wife, Giselle, in less than a year in March 2016. TMZ reported that he filed for divorce from his wife in Los Angeles in February while citing 'irreconcilable differences as the reason.

They also had a prenup in their separation. The pair had no children and had a clean and nice split. Not a long after their divorce Charlie Weber was romantically linked with another woman.

Soon after the divorce, Charlie started dating fellow How To Get Away With Murder co-star Liza Weil. 

The two were spotted together holding hands on June 6th, 2016. Sources claimed that the two had been dating for almost a year which was almost equal to the time they'd spent together on the show. 

The Missouri native Charlie, while admitting his relationship with Liza, talked about how much he liked her company,

"We were great friends and we found ourselves in a position to be more than that and we did, You spend a lot of time and I very much enjoyed spending time away from work so it all just kind of came together like that. It's very much appreciated because I'm very happy as well."

Charlie also assured that he wouldn't jeopardize his career by mixing real life with work and would respect their character's shaky relationship stating,

"We are very like-minded when it comes to our approach of acting, [We are] two actors very dedicated to what they do and have a very easy time separating who we are and who we are as characters.' 

The couple was spotted on producer Jennifer Klein's annual holiday bash in 2017. According to E!, the eyewitness addressed that the two were not hiding their affection and were holding hands and sneaking kisses whenever they could.

In order to give further confirmation to the news, Liza shared the picture of two during 2017's Christmas on her Instagram. But, the co-star couple couldn’t sustain their relationship for long. Charlie confirmed his breakup with Liza to People in a news statement in 2019.

The couple dated for more than two and a half years. The decision seemed to be an amicable one as the former model said that he and Liza shared an amazing relationship rooted in love and respect. And that relationship has found its way back to the great friendship they always had. He further continued:

We will continue to support each other and will always love working together.

Before the affair, Liza was married to Paul Adelstein in early 2000 and had a daughter named Josephine. But, Liza divorced her husband, Paul, in 2016.
