Jenelle Eason was born on the 19th of December 1991 in Oak Island, North Carolina. She comes from the household of father Robert Evans and mother, Barbara Evans. The reality TV star is the youngest in her family - she has two older siblings: a brother named Colin Evans and a sister called Ashleigh Evans.

When she was just four years old, Jenelle's family was torn apart due to her parents' divorce in 1996. The TV personality, along with her siblings, was raised by her single mother.

Although her father tried to get custody of the kids, he was only granted limited visitation time.

Later on, Jenelle suffered another blow as her family home burned down. Along with her family, the reality TV star relocated to a Marriot Residence Inn in the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
