Why Kane Brown & Girlfriend Turned Wife Married In Peace & Serenity

American country music singer and songwriter, Kane Brown seems to be on fire! 

Only a few days the singer, Kane Brown swept away three American Music Awards, he claims his biggest "sweep" after he gets married to his long-time girlfriend. While there is his AMA success to cherish, he has added more to his celebrations by committing to his girlfriend-turned-wife.

And what made the Georgia, United States native's wedding came true was his "weird proposal"!

Indeed, Kane is now taken and shares the marital bond with his singer wife. The couple had their country wedding ceremony with a hint of nature to it.

Well, let us take a closer look at their romance along with their awaited wedding. 

Romance With Long-Time Girlfriend

Kane Brown, who came to prominence through his first EP release "Closer" back in June 2015, has the stamp of a married man all over. The singer exchanged the wedding vows with his longtime girlfriend Katelyn Jae, who also has her hands in the world of music.

The couple, who first met back in 2015 has been together for two years, also appears in his latest music video "Weekend." 

However, the now-married couple were all silent for the most part of their relationship keeping their romance a low-key. But they went strongly for years until Kane, now at the age of 24, popped the question to his other half.

The proposal came while the two were watching The Amityville Horror which is a movie about newlyweds who had just moved into a house where unfortunate events surround them as a man had murdered his family there.

According to Kane, who is of mixed ethnicity, the proposal was "weird" and had actually planned to pop the question the next day in a romantic way. But turns out he just could not wait to turn his long-time girlfriend to his fiance.

Kane, who is of American nationality, announced the news of their engagement days after the proposal during his concert in Philadelphia held in April 2017. 

Country Wedding With Girlfriend-Turned-Wife

More than a year after their engagement the couple finally exchanged their wedding vows. Kane and Katelyn were pronounced husband and wife in October 2018 in front of their family and friends.

The pair tied the knot at a ceremony held outside of Nashville at the Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee. They opted for a hint of nature and an idea of home for their big day.

Talking with PEOPLE, the pair opened up about their choice of venue. In their joint statement, the couple said,

"We wanted something here in Nashville and loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much," t. "It's not too rural but has so many elements of nature—a huge lake, rolling hills, trees. It's just beautiful out there."

Adding to it, greenery-filled wedding, the newlyweds served salmon and barbecue chicken for their guests.

The bride walked down the aisle in a sleeveless white wedding gown with less fabric while the groom appeared in a black Lanvin suit. After their awaited wedding, the bride and the groom headed for East Tennessee for their honeymoon.
