Matt Czuchry reportedly started dating American actress Kate Bosworth in July 2000. The fling is said to have started while Matt and Kate crossed paths on Young Americans' set.

Though the show never got aired, the romance between them deepened and continued even after the series's cancellation. However, Matt and his girlfriend never revealed their relationship officially.

After two years of dating, they broke up without revealing any particular reasons. But it seemed to be an amicable split as in June 2010, both of them were spotted together on a friendly lunch date accompanied by Kate's then-boyfriend, Alexander Skarsgard, at Joan’s on Third.

I think that any place that discriminates against people, any bill that discriminates against any people is on the wrong side of history. The country is constantly moving forward in a progressive way, things are getting better in terms of that. But we have work to do.

And because of his support for the LGBTQ+ community, speculations might have come that he also might be gay. But that's definitely not true.
