Married Life With CEO Husband:

Many are aware that Ann Curry is married to Brian Ross, who is the CEO at FIX Flyer LLC.

However, the exact date of their marriage has not been disclosed yet. They first met at the University of Oregon before beginning a dating relationship. They are blessed with two children: a daughter, McKenzie, and a son, William Walker Curry Ross.

There had been rumors that the husband and wife were going through rough times indicating towards the possible divorce. Nevertheless, as the couples are still together, they have crucified the rumors this far.

She is living with her husband and children in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Career Of Ann Curry:

In 1978, Ann Curry started her journalism career with KTVL as an intern and later became the first lady reporter of that station. Eventually, she moved to KGW as an anchor and reporter, and after serving there for four years, she moved to KCBS-TV where she won two Emmy Awards as a reporter.

After bagging the two Emmys, she rose to prominence as a prominent figure in the journalism industry. In 1990, she joined the mighty NBC News as a Chicago correspondent. She used to substitute Matt Lauer from 1994 to 1997. Later, she went on to permanently replace Meredith Vieira on Today in 2011.

On her first day as a co-anchor on the Today show, her husband and daughter had a message for her with their best wishes.

Later in 2012, Curry announced that she would be leaving the Today show. She bid farewell to all the cast of Today and her viewers. The reason was said to be the fall in the rating of the show in comparison to its rival, ABC’s Good Morning America.

Many also claimed that Ann's departure from the show was on account of her unadorable onscreen chemistry with co-host, Matt Lauer. Ann announced the news of her leaving the show on air, sobbing, and choking.

Ann Curry was with NBC as a National and International Correspondent/Anchor and “Today” anchor –at –large, reporting for all platforms of NBC News till the start of 2015. In 2015, it was confirmed that Ann Curry left NBC to become the founder of her own media startup. 

In January 2018, Ann hosted the docuseries produced by her home production titled We'll Meet Again. The show is based on 12 people and their 12 stories on finding the person, who changed their lives.

Speaks On Matt's Scandal

Ann left the Today show in 2012 and nearly five years later, her then co-host, Matt Lauer was fired. In November 2017, Matt was shown the exit door from the favorite show due to sexual allegations from an undisclosed employee.

Ann was expected to support her former colleague, but her statement shocked many. The 62-year-old veteran reporter mentioned that she was not surprised by the firing of Matt Lauer and all the sexual accusations against him.

Although Ann didn't explain if she was also a victim of Matt's derogatory behavior, she must have witnessed some incidents of Matt harassing other employees.

Ann Curry was born on November 19, 1956. Ann is a B.A graduate in journalism from the University of Oregon (in 1978).

She received two Emmy Awards along with a Vision Award from the Asian American Journalist Association, Excellence in Reporting by the NAACP and much more.
