Ryan James Eggold, best known for his admirable acting on the CW teen drama series 90210 and NBC hit The Blacklist, has recently joined another NBC show New Amsterdam. Know the reason behind his shocking exit from the series The Blacklist, NBC`s press release, and more about his personal life.

How Did He Clinch A Role In New Amsterdam?

Fans were left guessing about Ryan`s next stop when the actor suddenly took an exit from The Blacklist. However, the NBC star did not disappoint his fans and was back to the screen starring as the main protagonist, Dr. Max Goodwin. Even though The Blacklist came back after getting canceled, Ryan`s character Ryan Matthew got killed just after the show`s comeback. However, NBC had no intention of releasing the actor! The former NBC Ent. Chairman took pleasure to state, “Now, when we first met Ryan Eggold as one of the bad guys on The Blacklist, we knew that he had a quality and a performer quality we wanted to keep working with….” The actor shared that he was looking for something different and something more grounded. The character of Dr. Max Goodwin just turned out to be the character he was looking for to play.

Not So Blissful Dating Life Of Ryan Eggold! Is He Dating Now?

In 2008, actor Ryan Eggold was allegedly in a relationship with “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene. Though the romance never received a confirmation from any of them, a close insider of the duo confirmed their budding relationship to justjared.com. The source said,

“It’s pretty new, but they’re totally together.”

Just before obtaining approval about Ryan's involvement from his friends, he had confessed to dating an actress during an opening of a Boutique in Malibu on 4 October 2008.

While at the same time, the street onlookers saw the pair holding hands and cuddling at night.

But it looks like the relationship between the two failed as Ashley started dating Paul Khoury in 2013. Ryan and Ashley separated in 2013, and neither Ashley nor Ryan has spoken anything about their failed relationship.

After the publicized relationship, Ryan has completely shunned his girlfriend’s affairs from the spectators and media reach. In 2014, during an interview with Daily Telegraph Australia, when asked about his romantic life off-screen, Ryan categorized himself as an older adult with no potential to handle pick-up lines. He said,

"I am an old man.I go for the quiet. I wouldn’t say I handle attention well; I’d say I stumble over pick-up lines poorly. I’m not good at any of that. I’ve been a 90-year-old man since I was 12-years-old. I’m not good with it, but I try to stay at least somewhat involved.”

Ryan was born in the land of Hollywood, in Lakewood, California. His full name is Ryan James Eggold. 

He was born into the loving family of Karen and James Eggold on 10 August 1984. Although not much is known about his parents, judging by his social media posts, he is very close to them.

Ryan attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School and graduated in 2002. When he was in school, he participated in many theater performances and later took the same drive and passion for studying Theater Arts at the University of Southern California in 2006. 

Fresh out of University, he landed a role in a short film, Con: The Corruption of Shawn Helm as Shawn Helm, starting his long journey in showbiz. And he is still going; Ryan will appear onscreen in 2020 on Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Always.
