Dating; Qualities Of Spouse

The successful yatch driver, Sandy Yawn was all about maintaining her personal life very low-key. Well, she has already crossed the marriageable age, and it would be hard for her followers to know that she has not bound to any relationship till date. Revealing that she had a girlfriend, she told Vital VOICE magazine in May 2017,

"I'm female, I happen to have a girlfriend or whatever."

Even though the 53-year-old proud driver did come out with her sexual preference, she has not revealed her partner's identity and did not mention if she got married to her or just ended the relationship without escalation.

But the major bite of the Los Angeles resident's dating life came on May 2018 while talking to Bravo TV. Revealing she was involved in a low-key long-distance dating relationship, she stated,

"You know, I have dated in L.A., and it was great so far. But the minute I went to Europe, it changed, it shifted. I believe that distance does not make the heart grow fonder; I think it just makes you forget. And they get jealous, and you can't talk because you're busy running the boat, and you're at sea. The cell phone reception is bad, and then on the flip side is when you feel lonely, and you want to talk to your person, and they're busy."

Also, the world renowned captain added that she has never dated anyone from the yachting industry for the situation can become too "sticky." As put in Sandy's words, "it's hard to have a relationship being a yacht captain." She explained,

"And most of my friends that are yacht captains, they've divorced or they hook up with people in the industry, and so far I haven't met anyone, really. It's about the person for me."

Sandy has participated in the show, Below Deck Mediterranean, where every season is filled with many flirtings, hooking up and breakups. However, she has remained stays far from such issues.

"I want someone who wakes up happy, just is happy to be alive. Like, that's how I wake up every day of my life. And yes, when there's something going on in your life, of course you don't wake up happy. But the majority of the time, someone who wants to live, wants to experience, wants to travel, wants to try different restaurants, wants to go see shows. And I love music. Someone who loves concerts because I am a concertgoer."

Well, with her planned married life, she is still searching for the right partner and probably, there might be a line of her followers who want to be called as Captain Sandy's spouse.
