According to People, Shantel and her husband, Victor, married three times. Her first wedding ceremony was on August 9, outside the Pasadena City Hall in California.

She chose that day for her wedding because it was her grandparents' wedding date. So the second wedding reception was held in October in Napa, California, and the third was held in Luverne, Minnesota, so her elder family could be there.

Shantel and her husband, Victor, dated for four years before getting engaged in February 2021. 

She and her husband were spotted together during their romantic getaway to Mexico in June 2018. She enjoyed the drinks with her partner and was on several trips to the spa and resorts.

The Days of Our Lives star made his relationship public on Instagram back on July 7, 2018, following the adorable kissing picture with Shantel on National Kissing Day.

While Victor has been open about his relationship with actress Shantel, she seems to have taken a timeout to share the good news with millions of followers.

So, after several months of dating life, Shantel cleared that she "only has eyes" for her boyfriend, Victor. So, on December 1, 2018, she Instagrammed the beautiful memories with her boyfriend, Victor.

Shantel was in a relationship with the British actor Jon Fletcher. 

Jon and Shantel first met while shooting for the show The Messengers. They were spotted together in Paris on September 24, 2015, where they looked adorable, and that is what kickstarted the rumor of them dating.

She dated Michael Johnson from 2008-2009 and James Lafferty from 2009-2010. But she was in another relationship around 2010 when she was rumored to be dating her co-star Robert Buckley. When asked about her relationship with Buckley, she said, 

“He’s my best friend, no no no! I mean we sleep in the same bed and nap together and to have that friendship to me is so important. Our chemistry is so much better because of it, because most romances come from a friendship so when you have that base in real life it only helps on screen.”

Buckley and Shantel were the on-screen love mates in the series One Tree Hill and were reported to date one another, which was not confirmed by either.
