As a young graduate, Simon kicked off his career with Warner Brothers in the publicity department, an experience which later helped him work as a public relations manager at the very first McDonald’s restaurant in Russia.

In the later years, he founded Huvane Baum Halls (HBH) in 1995 along with his business partners, which quickly grabbed pace in Hollywood. However, Simon and his fellow colleagues eventually sold HBH to publicity giant, PMK.

He remained with the merged company PMK/HBH till 2009, before parting and becoming partners with Slate PR.

Simon and Matt share three sons together, Kit aged 14, and twin Henry and Walker, 11. All their children were born with the help of a surrogate, whom Simon found through an agency called Growing Generations. 

Simon and Matt, despite being busy dads, are determined to give their kids a normal life, the one they experienced themselves when they were young. During an interview, Matt expressed,

“I don’t want anybody out on stage any time soon, I want them to have a nice, normal childhood.”

The couple is working on finding their children’s interest by different means. Matt, who holds a net worth of $9 million, further continued,

“[We go] to art museums [and read] art books. We’ve got a lot of photography books and art books. We try to select schools for them over the course of their lives that encourage them.”
