Offset & Wife Cardi B, Married Couple Split; Starts Calling Him Baby Daddy

Hip-Hop's power couple made up of Atlanta rapper Offset, age 27, & Bronx wordsmith Cardi B are now back together within months after the latter announced the spit via Instagram.

Following the announcement, the Bad and Boujee rapper's wife Cardi shared an image of their baby daughter Kulture for the very first time. And with the woman - who helped Offset cheat - coming forth with an emotional response, the then-estranged married couple's relationship seemed to have taken a left turn.

Married Life Ends Following Split From Wife; Cardi B Labels Offset "Baby Daddy"

Offset's then-wife of more than a year, Cardi B, took the internet by storm when she uploaded a video of her announcing their split.

Uploaded on 5th December 2018, the minute and a half long video featured the I Like It rapper addressing her situation with her "baby father." She began:-

“So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now... "

As for reasons behind the split, Cardi claimed that she and Offset "grew out of love." Despite the break-up, she insisted on having a healthy relationship with the father of her baby daughter. The stripper-cum-rap star explained:-

“We are really good friends and we are really good business partners — you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”

According to her, neither she nor her husband Offset - who stands 5 foot 8 inches in height - was at fault.

Furthermore, she laid out her plans for divorcing her estranged husband. The Be Careful songstress ended the video by saying:-

“It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father."

Responding to his estranged wife's revelation, Offset - who boasts a reported net worth of $16 million - dropped a comment on the stated Instagram video that merely read:-

"Y'all won."

The reply, since then, has gone on to become a viral quote. Twitter users, in particular, seemed to have taken a liking to Offset's response as a manifestation of "not owning up to one's actions."

Long story short, Offset's split from his wife was months in the making!

Since their secret wedding in September of 2017, the one-third of the rap trio Migos has been caught cheating on his estranged wife Cardi on more than one occasion.

When a sex tape featuring him and his mistresses got leaked in January 2018, his wife asked the world not to pressure her into leaving him.

Nevertheless, the latest cheating scandal involving Offset, fellow rapper Cuban Doll and "Instagram honey" Summer Bunni proved as the last tide that finally tumbled the married duo's relationship.

Following the news of their split, the Ric Flair Drip hitmaker's alleged mistress Summer issued an apology in a video sent to TMZ. In a remorseful tone, she said:-

“I feel ashamed,” she continues. “It’s a lot, but just coming from me and to Cardi B, and to our fans, to her family to her situation, these were never my intentions and I never wanted to break up a happy home.”

Amidst everything, Cardi B dropped another bomb on the world when she shared a picture of their daughter Kulture for the very first time.

Maybe, by sharing a photo of Kulture, Cardi was subtlely implying that nobody but, their daughter makes her priority list.

Besides Kulture, Offset also fathers three more children from previous relationships. He shares a son named Jordan, now age 9, with Justine Watson. Also, the one-third of the trio Migos has another son Kody with ex-girlfriend Oriel Jamie.

Likewise, he shares custody of his first daughter Kalea Marie with relatively unknown rapper Shya L’Amour.

Gets Back With Estranged Wife

Offset's split with Cardi B, however, became be a short-lived affair.

Within months after announcing their split, the parents of Kulture reunited to raise their child in a more family-friendly environment. The reunion, in return, got met with more success on the professional front.

That said, the pair has faced darker days as well. In March 2019, vloggers Latasha Kebe and Starmarie Ebony Jones accused the Money hitmaker of popping pills while still pregnant with Kulture among a host of other allegations including robbery and prostitution.

In retaliation, Cardi filed a defamation lawsuit against the said vloggers.
