Megyn Kelly may be soon walking out of the door from NBC News as negotiations of her departure transpire between the journalist and the network executives!
Though not official, sources suggest that Megyn's exit from the news network might be announced in the next few days to come, but it has been confirmed that she will not be returning for her 9 a.m. show, Megyn Kelly Today.
Megyn didn't host the Thursday episode of her show as scheduled and the live telecast was replaced with a pre-recorded episode. An NBC News representative explained that Megyn's pre-taped episodes would be shown for the rest of the week.

Megyn initially hosted two shows on NBC; a morning talk show on weekdays and an evening news on Sunday. However, the evening news show was canceled after a short period while the morning talk show didn't meet ratings and viewers expectations.
But it was Megyn's "blackface Halloween costumes" comment that triggered the cancellation of her early hour show.
Megyn, age 47, had mentioned a controversial statement regarding white people putting on black makeup for Halloween calling it not an act of racism. She said in Megyn Kelly Today,
"But what is racist? Because you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface on Halloween, or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid that was OK, as long as you were dressing up as, like, a character."
The reporter's statement met widespread resistance and Megyn was roasted all over social media. She was asked to apologize to her colleagues and audiences, but her racist comment was not forgotten by both the viewers and NBC's executives.
Sources also mention that there have been feuds between Megyn and the network management for a few months as she had been aggressively covering the #MeToo movement along with the scandals which happened at NBC.
Megyn has already cut ties with her talent agency, CAA, and hired attorney Bryan Freedman, who is scheduled to meet the NBC executives on Friday. Hiring a lawyer might imply that Megyn is looking for a compensation package because of the cancellation of her contract and the loss of salary for her.
NBC had earlier hired Megyn on a three-year contract at a whopping amount of $23 million a year from Fox News in January 2017. She was replaced by correspondent Tucker Carlson's show, Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Megyn has not disclosed her plans for a new job, but it seems like she is not returning to Fox News.
