American artist Ben Shattuck is fortunate enough to achieve both milestones. He successfully proposed actress Jenny Slate and received a big "Yes" in return. The proposal took place in the most cliche way possible in the south of France on 9 Septemeber 2019.
First, the pair enjoyed a picnic together and took a walk around an abandoned castle. That's when the curator made the proposal, getting down on one of his knees and asked her to be his wife. After the acceptance, he presented his fiancee with an antique prong-set sapphire ring with a halo of diamonds and a gold band.
With the lovely gesture on Ben's part, the adorable duo is now officially engaged.

The pair were first spotted dating in January 2018 after attending Sundance Film Festival together.

Although the upcoming wedding will be Ben's first experience with marriage, the same doesn't hold for his fiancee. She was married to comedian Dean Fleischer-Camp until May 2016.
