CNN’s Brooke Baldwin & Producer Husband; Married In Paradise, Wedding Details

American journalist Brooke Baldwin, who has been the television news anchor at CNN since 2008, has finally found love that compliments her job. 

While she is off to the corners of the world to cover the news, she is a blessed woman with a love that stays with her. Not only is her boyfriend-turned-husband a hopeless romantic loving his girlfriend but also accompanies her to available places she visits.

Indeed, Brooke's new husband has not only traveled alongside her and but also has joined her in the coverages across the world. 

Met Husband At A Holiday Party; "Incredibly Flexible" Partner

The CNN Newsroom host, Brooke Baldwin knew her love of the life right from the start. It was the journalist herself, who invited James Fletcher to New Orleans party after being the duo first met at a holiday party in 2015 in Atlanta. 

While James was visiting through the town, and Brooke was about to leave for Christmas in Atlanta, which sparked the perfect opportunity for the Atlanta, Georgia native to insist James on having dinner together.

James eventually agreed, and Baldwin later quoted her boyfriend as "incredibly flexible" to AJC, 

“I knew he was the guy since I met him. He’s been incredibly flexible being with me.”

And more of such flexibility came when the journalist soon invited him to New Orleans as she covered the New Year's for CNN. James could not deny and join her through the coverage.

Soon, the couple was dating each other and were even off for the world tour while Brooke was covering stories all the time.

When the CNN journo didn't get loaded with work, she spent most of her time alongside James as the pair built their relationship to what they have today. They were off taking vacations.

While they both were spending some alone time together on vacation to Hawaii on Brooke's birthday, James gifted her with something that she would cherish all her life. James presented her with a ring and asked her to marry him on her 38th birthday.

“We were chilling on the beach. We love sunsets. It was simple. I didn’t want a big thing. He did well. All I wanted on my birthday was to be on a surfboard. I got a little bit more than that.”

The proposal came as a surprise and Brooke couldn't just say no to it. The couple upped their love by getting engaged in July 2017. And after years of dating, Brooke finally tied the wedding knot with her other half by saying, "I Do."

Wedding Details: Pug As Ring Bearer

After a year of their engagement, the pair finally decided to tie the nuptial knot. In May 2018, James and Brooke got pronounced as husband and wife in the wedding ceremony, which was accompanied by their close friends and family.

The couple married at The Barn at the Liberty Farms, an event space in the Hudson Valley situated at the north of New York City. They had an intimate wedding at which Brook appeared in a body-wrapping beaded gown designed by Naeem Khan.

The wedding gown held a special place as an Indian-American designer designed it, and the pair had recently visited India.

On the big day, Brooke's then 14-year-old pet pug served as the ring bearer. The CNN personality made her grand entrance on her big day by pulling up in a white vintage Rolls Royce and walking the aisle to "Love's Divine" by Seal, which is one of her favorite songs.

Well, the married pair continue to flaunt their love through their posts on social media.

Health Scare

In January 2019, the viewers were left surprised when Brooke left her show midway, and Brianna Keilar replaced her. The CNN Newsroom viewers were concerned that what catastrophe occurred that the otherwise dependable host left the show.

Well, Brooke cleared the air via her Twitter in January 2019. Unfortunately, she suffers from ocular migraine, which occurs once a year. During the episode, she cannot see anything, but her vision returns afterward. In her long career the attack never occurred while on set, but first time in 20 years it caused such an emergency.

Aside from the minor health-related glitch, Brooke is a dependable and reputed journalist. She launched an eight-part series, American Woman, a show about trailblazing women on CNN.

Well, she interviewed revered women; Ashley Graham, Issa Rae, Diane Von Furstenberg, Betty White, Ava Duvarney, Sheryl Crow, Tracy Reese, and Pat Benatar. The list included pioneer ladies in their respective fields.
