MNSBC's very own Lawrence O'Donnell, age 67, hasn't been the same person ever since divorcing his wife. Following the collapse of almost two decades of blissful married life, the Boston native is still learning to come to grips with the painful experience.

From almost meeting his maker while vacationing with his brother to the surfacing of a video of his infamous workplace meltdown, the host of The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell's post-divorce life has been marred by tragedies and mishaps on his part.

That said, Tamron Hall - a former fellow MSNBC personality who was allegedly dating him - emerged as a beacon of light after she shared about wanting to have children.

Collapse Of Married Life With Ex-Wife Followed By Tragedies & Mishaps

Lawrence will have a much smoother transition into parenthood more so than his alleged girlfriend if they do decide to start a family.

After all, the 67-year-old author-and-TV host is already parenting a daughter, Elizabeth Buckley Harrold with his ex-wife Kathryn Harrold. He and Kathryn, the Nightwing actress, age 71, got married in 1994 - after meeting through a mutual friend in New York - only to get divorced 19 years later in 2013.

In many ways, Kathryn was his better half -- a good luck charm of a sort. Nothing solidifies this other than the events that followed after.

Less than a year into their divorce, Lawrence and his brother nearly escaped death while vacationing in the Virgin Islands after becoming the victim of a drunk driving accident as a passenger in a taxi.

And for the next three years, the Former Democratic chief of staff for the Senate Finance Committee would remain dormant until an 8-minute clip of his meltdown on the set of his show got leaked in September of 2017.

Following the leak, he took to Twitter to apologize.

The surfacing of his meltdown footage had come less than three months after he had signed a new deal with MSNBC. The stated new arrangement guarantees Lawrence - who has a reported net worth of $16 million - a $4 million in salary.

Dating Tamron Hall: Former Fellow MSNBC Personality Was Open To Having Children

Many might not remember, but rumors surrounding Lawrence and Tamron Hall's romance had surfaced well before the former's divorce was finalized.

The New York Post was the first media outlet to report the brewing romance between the MSNBC personalities in February of 2012. Neither Lawrence nor his alleged girlfriend - who boasts impressive salary & net worth - publicly acknowledged the gossip.

The rumored couple would once again spark dating rumors after attending the 2016 White House Correspondents' Dinner. In an interview with People Magazine earlier that year, Tamron revealed her plans further adding fuel to the hot gossip.

“I’ve not given up on having a child. But I hope whatever route of parenthood I choose, whether it’s adoption or I’m able to conceive, I just hope that I’m able to give someone as beautiful a life as my parents gave me."

Sadly, things ended between the two after Tamron admitted to dating a guy named Tony on Twitter in 2017. A little under a month later, she left MSBNC & the Today Show. She is now happily married to Steven Greener, a music manager. Tamron's lifelong dream finally came to fruition when the couple gives birth to their first child named Mosses on April 2019; the same year the pair tied the knot.

Sharing the exuberant news via Instagram, the former Today Show co-host posted a snap of her holding her bundle of joy. In the picture, she donned a DIY hat with Moses written across it.

The news came two months after Tamron had opened about her married life on Instagram. On the very upload, she shared the knowledge of her pregnancy with keen fans.

While his alleged former girlfriend took strides in parenting, Lawrence has occupied himself with politics.

In May 2019, the controversial anchor stirred drama by accusing the White House Counselor, Kellyanne Conway of violating the Hatch Act. His claims had come after Kellyanne allegedly spoke against presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The said Hatch Act forbids any federal employee from using their position to influence the result of the election.
